These terms describe how Decatur Website Designer works with clients. They are written in plain words and they say the same thing the rest of the site says.
Ownership
The client owns the website and the domain. Decatur Website Designer does not keep a right to the site, its content or the domain after the work is paid for.
Websites
A website is a one-time price agreed before the work starts. A Standard website starts at $2,450 and covers five pages, up to eight. A Full website starts at $3,400 and includes an individual page for each service plus the standard pages. E-commerce websites start at $2,950 and are priced on a call. The price for a given site is agreed with the client before the build.
Monthly plans
Hosting and care is $97 a month and includes hosting, daily backups, the updates the site needs, and small edits (replacing an image, updating text, removing or duplicating a section) up to two hours of work a month. It does not include new pages. The hosting-only plan is $47 a month and includes hosting, daily backups and updates, with no edits. E-commerce store care is $147 a month, includes hosting, backups, checkout and catalog checks and a few edits a month, and is required while a store's checkout is live. Local SEO starts at $500 a month. Google Ads and Facebook ads management is priced on a call.
There is no long-term contract on any monthly plan. Any monthly plan may be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
Leaving
On 30 days' notice, the client receives a zipped copy of the site and has 30 days to move it before the next bill. Another designer may move the site, or Decatur Website Designer will move it for a one-time fee of $147 once the client's new hosting is set up.
Local SEO and advertising
Decatur Website Designer does not promise rankings, map placements, traffic or a number of leads from local SEO or ads management. Google does not verify or endorse these services. Decatur Website Designer is not affiliated with Google.
